Recently, Mr. Miao Tao, Chairman of Miaotao International, led a delegation to Tokyo and Kanagawa, Japan, for a special visit to the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka (Hayao Miyazaki Museum) and the Kawasaki City Fujiko·F·Fujio Museum. The delegation conducted in-depth research on the creation, R&D, industrial operation and global cultural communication models of classic Japanese anime IPs, absorbing cutting-edge experience and development ideas for Miaotao International’s global cultural and creative expansion, China-Japan cross-border IP cooperation and digital content innovation.

During the visit, Chairman Miao Tao and his party thoroughly toured the animation workshop, classic original manuscript exhibition area and exclusive theater of the Ghibli Museum, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire artistic system from hand-drawn creation, storyboard design to complete animation production by Director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, and personally experiencing the core creative philosophy of “conveying dreams and warmth through animation”. At the Fujiko·F·Fujio Museum, the delegation focused on viewing a large number of original artworks of national classic anime works such as Doraemon, the restored scene of the author’s studio, as well as the mature system of IP derivative development, cultural communication for all ages and global implementation, and deeply studied the core logic of building long-term vitality of classic IP and cross-border commercial operation.

Chairman Miao Tao stated that the Japanese anime industry is a benchmark in the global cultural and creative field, and the two anime museums are not only exhibition halls of anime art, but also models of IP industrialization and international cultural communication. This visit provides an important reference for Miaotao International to layout the global cultural and creative industry and promote two-way China-Japan IP cooperation. In the future, taking this visit as an opportunity, Miaotao International will further integrate high-quality cultural and creative resources from China and Japan, promote the digital activation of classic IPs, global distribution of original animation content and the implementation of cross-border cultural and creative projects, help high-quality Chinese cultural IPs go global, and introduce overseas classic IPs to empower the domestic market, so as to build an interconnected, integrated and dynamic global cultural and creative ecosystem.
